Mrs. Wilma Southerland, age 78 of Jasper, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Mrs. Southerland is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe Preston & Phylicia Southerland of Talking Rock; daughter, Tammy Jo Southerland of Jasper; brothers and sister-in-law, Lloyd Harris of Calhoun, Randall Harris of Calhoun, and Don & Debra Harris of Rome; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn & Travis Worley of Calhoun, Lois Brackett of Oakman, Janice Silvers of Calhoun, Ivajean Winkler of Calhoun, and Edna Goble of Jasper; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Southerland; brothers, Clifford Harris, Charles Harris, Edward Harris, and Jimmy Harris; sisters, Wanda Carzell Dyer, and Brenda Harris.

Visitation is Sunday, November 19, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm, and Tuesday from 8:00 am until the funeral service.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Stanley Mulkey and Rev. Randall Chastain officiating.

Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
