Mr. Howard Pettigrew, age 82 of Dawsonville, passed away Saturday July 10, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Mr. Pettigrew is survived by his wife: Amelia Pettigrew of Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law: Mitchell & Rachel Pettigrew of Dallas, GA, and Kamotse & Jobie Pettigrew of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law: Denesia & Richard Weldy of Jasper; sister: Mary Gibson of Hill City Community; twelve grandchildren and thirty four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Sunday July 11, 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday July 12, 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and Tuesday, July 13, 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday July 13, 2021 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Buck Parker officiating.

Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Shane Weldy, Cody Weldy, Jessie Weldy, Chuck Prather, Tom Pettigrew, and Jonathan Picklesimer.
