Obituary

William "Tim" Crowe, age 65, passed away on August 9, 2024. Born on July 20, 1959, in Jasper, Georgia, he was the son of Mr. Raburn Crowe and Ms. Mae Bess Worley Crowe.

Tim was a man of the outdoors, finding solace in hunting, fishing, and the thrill of driving fast—always adhering to the motto "drive it like you stole it." Beneath his tough exterior, he had a soft heart, balancing his gruffness with a genuine kindness that touched those who knew him. His sense of humor was infectious, and he loved to tell jokes with friends and family. Tim's beloved cat, Robert, was a constant companion, providing comfort and companionship throughout the years. For 38 years, Tim was devoted to his wife, creating a lasting partnership filled with love and shared memories. Together, they raised three children, leaving behind a legacy of family bonds and cherished moments. Music was Tim's soul, and he reveled in the sounds of country and southern rock. The Marshall Tucker Band, CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Waylon Jennings provided the soundtrack to his life. Professionally, Tim worked in construction as a skilled glass glazier, leaving his mark on buildings and structures throughout his community. His craftsmanship reflected both precision and pride. Tim's greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Papa" and "Pop-Pop." His memory lives on in their hearts, as well as in the hearts of those who knew him best.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raburn and Mae Bess, as well as three sisters and one brother.

Tim is survived by his wife, Susan Crowe, sons; Ben (Jaclyn) Crowe, Billy Crowe, daughter, Ashley Crowe Kinser, grandchildren; Kryslin, Alyssa, Kennedy, Nolan, Wyatt, Teddy and his brother, Hayden (Carolyn) Crowe. His legacy endures through the laughter, love, and stories shared by those who were fortunate enough to be part of his journey.
