Mr. William Loyd, affectionately known as Billy, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 52. He was born on November 8, 1971, in Covington, Georgia, to the late Mr. Elvin Harris Loyd Jr. and Ms. Karen Hancock Loyd.

Billy was a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan. He passionately supported his team through every high and low. Billy was the kind of fan who wore red and black with pride, cheering on every play with unwavering faith. His love for his team extended beyond the field, inspiring those around him to share in his joy and dedication. He also, enjoyed NASCAR and wrestling, but his heart was with his beloved Bulldogs and his faith in God. He was a true lover of life's simple pleasures-be it relaxing on the beach, camping, or simply spending time with his family and the people he cherished at work. His sweet nature made him a favorite among friends and family, especially his sisters who spoiled and adored him. Billy was known for his love of talking, never running out of things to say, and his deep bond with his sisters, who were his best friends. His passing leaves a void in the heart of those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Randy Garner.

Billy is survived by his sisters, Marlene Garner, Darlene Loyd, Jamica (David) Carver, nieces and nephews, Amy (Skeeter) Doran, Eric Garner, Courtney Carver, Cody Carver, Preston White, and friend that became family, Tracy McCart.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Wednesday October 16, 2024, from 2 o'clock in the afternoon until nine at night and Thursday October 17, 2024, from ten in the morning until the service hour.

Billy's funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday October 17, 2024, at 2 o'clock with Pastor Jerry Jude officiating.

The family will be accepting flowers and deeply appreciate your support during this difficult time.
