It is with a heavy heart that Cagle Funeral Home and the Gaddis family announces the loss of Mr. Jody Gaddis of Jasper, Ga. He left this world unexpectedly on March 19,2024 at the age of 59.

Jody was born on April 12, 1964 to Mr. Russell Gaddis and Ms. Willette Jones Gaddis in Tate, Georgia. Jody was a strong, caring, selfless man with a heart of gold. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Jody had an uncanny ability to find joy in the smallest of things and appreciated the simpleness of life. He was a hard worker, who could fix anything and loved to make people laugh, always taking care of his family and friends. Through the years, Jody enjoyed working on cars, fishing, being outdoors and riding his motorcycle. Jody was an amazing dad to three children and six precious grandchildren that he adored, teaching them to drive and fish, never turning down a ride on the motorcycle when his grandchildren asked. They brought him so much joy.

Jody is now in heaven with his parents, brothers; Danny, Donald and Jerry Gaddis and his sister, June Stewart.

His memory will now live on with his daughter, Miranda (Matthew) Young, sons; Jacob Gaddis & Cody Goss, his brother, Sam & Mary Gaddis, sister, Barbara & Frank Rogers, grandchildren; Cameron Newby, Jada, Connor & Elizabeth Young, Ryley & Brody Goss, the mother of his children, Carol McNeese and friends who became family, Becky Gaddis and Keith McNeese.

A celebration of life will be conducted on Monday, March 25, 2024 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with many family and friends sharing wonderful memories of Jody.

Interment will follow directly after at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from four o'clock in the evening until nine and Monday nine o'clock in the morning until the service hour.

The family of Mr. Gaddis deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and will be accepting flowers.
