Mr. Waldo Stone, age 90 of Talking Rock, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Stone is survived by his daughter, Joyce Stone of Talking Rock; brother, Roscoe Stone of Talking Rock; five grandchildren, Travis Stone, Tonia Page, Jeremiah Stone, Tina Childers, and Dezirae Dover; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Inez Stone; son, Donnie Lee Stone; parents, Oscar and Lucinda Stone; brothers and sisters, Cisro Stone, Ermagene Stone, Arewill Mulkey, Ader Mulkey, Rosalee Young, Demple Mulkey, Flois Stone, and Jewell Stone.

Visitation is Tuesday, February 28, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm, and Thursday, from 8:00 am until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Chastain officiating.

Interment will be at Mountain Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Justin Stone, John Stone, Jeff Stone, Adam Piper, Parker Brewer, Kenneth Childers, and Tony Childers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
