Mr. Virgil Chastain, age 77 of Talking Rock, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mr. Chastain is survived by his wife, Margaret Chastain of Talking Rock; sons and daughter-in-law, Matt & Channa Chastain of Hinton Community, and Mark Chastain of Atlanta; daughter, Wendy Chastain of Hinton; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny & Anita Chastain of Hinton, sister and brother-in-law, Patricia & Chris Huston of Hinton; grandchildren, Jack Spears, Sean Spears, Ryan Spears, Nolan Chastain, and Maggie Chastain; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Thursday, April 28, 10:30 am until 9:00 pm, and Friday, April 29, 8:00 am until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Mitten officiating.

Interment will be at Hinton Community Cemetery following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Cagle, Mike Denson, Chris Houston, Scotty Moss, Kevin Moss, and Ed Buchanan.
