Troy McElroy, son of the late Vell and Regina McElroy, passed away at his home on June 20, 2021 at 71years of age.

He served in the Army and was a valued Auto Body Technician for Prater Ford in Calhoun for 26 years before he retired.

After retiring, he spent time on his classic cars and using his engineering and metal skills, he helped friends and family with projects.

He is survived by his older sister, Carol Powell of Calhoun, and her daughters, Gina Revels of Calhoun, and Melody Chapman of Dunfirmline, Scotland, along with their children, Clarissa of Calhoun, Valora and Zander of Scotland;  his younger sister, Sara O'Brien and brother-in-law, Bob O'Brien of Marietta.

He is also survived by his special friend and companion of over 24 years, Charlene Oliver of Cartersville.

Troy is loved and will be missed by family and his many friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Cagle Funeral Home.

Following visitation, graveside services will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Allen Owens officiating.

Pallbearers: Joel Caves, Cody Rathbone, Joel Collis, Isaiah Oliver, Liam Oliver, and Noel Collis. Honorary pallbearers: Earl Lee and Doyle Wayne Proctor.
