Thomas Lee Bobbitt, Jr., age 63 of Charlotte, NC, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020. Born in Greensboro, NC, Tom was the son of the late Thomas Lee Bobbitt, and is survived by his mother, Shirley Barbee Bobbitt of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Tom spent his childhood and youth growing up in Atlanta, GA, graduated from Georgia State University in 1981, and spent his career working with his father and brother as a sales representative for Gulfstream Air, Inc. Tom was a devoted husband and father and kept his family laughing and well-versed in Bruce Springsteen and Carolina Panthers football. Section 552 will never be the same, and he will forever be "Tougher Than the Rest."

Tom was recently widowed by his wife of 40 years, Lori Myers Bobbitt. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kaeley and Josh Benson of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Charlotte Benson; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Terry Bobbitt of Jasper, GA; nephews Cole and Davis Bobbitt; niece, Ashley Chapman and her family, Tom and Hudson Chapman of Suwanee, GA; and nephew, Aaron Greaver, and his family, Amanda, Aidan, and Colby Greaver of Buford, GA.
