Ms. Tammie Davis, age 68, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on January 25, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1957, in Valrico, Florida, to the late Kenneth Coone and Hanie McGhee Coone.

Tammie was married to her husband, James, for 31 years, and together they built a loving life and family. She was a devoted wife and mother, known for her kind, old‑fashioned, gentle spirit. She always dreamed of becoming an archaeologist and had a deep fascination with ancient civilizations. Tammie loved watching her boys play video games, especially enjoying the stories behind them, even if she didn't care much for playing herself. She was also a lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy. Star Wars, Star Trek, and Harry Potter brought her joy, but books of all kinds were her true happy place.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Davis, and her grandparents.

Tammie's absence will be deeply felt by her surviving family: her sons, Erik Davis, Evan Davis, and Lee Davis; her sisters, Rebecca, Patricia, and Priscilla; and by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at Lake Forest Memorial Park on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Joe Langston officiating.
