Mrs. Sylvia Conner Akins, age 78, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Sylvia retired from AT&T. She loved being with her family and loving her grad children. She enjoyed reading, needle work, and crafts. She loved making needlework pictures and framing them as special gifts for her family. She was blessed with a beautiful talent.

Sylvia is survived by Son & Daughter-in-Law: Kenneth & Denise Boyd of Acworth. Daughter: Sonia Arflin of Marble Hill. Brother & Sister-in-Law: Grady & Joyce Conner of Marble Hill. Sister & Brother-in-Law: Barbara & Lamar Puckett of Woodstock; Sister-in-Law: Brenda Conner of Jasper. Eight Grand-Children, Six Great-Grand Children and several nieces and Nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her Husband: Martin Akins; Parents: Arthur and Edith Conner; Daughter: Kim Godfrey;  Brothers: James Conner and Thomas Conner.

The Graveside Service will be held May 13, at 12 Noon, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Harold Cantrell, officiating.
