Mrs. Susan Fitts Beck,80, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at her home in Jasper, Georgia.

Mrs. Beck was a lifelong resident of Pickens County and worked for over three decades for Dr. Larry Davis, Optometrist, in Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ralph D. Beck; her parents, William and Pearl Fitts of Marble Hill; sisters, Ruth Pearson, Ethel Lathem, and Nancy Frazier; and brothers, George Fitts, Bill Fitts, Tommy Fitts, and Charles Fitts.

She is survived by her son, Andy Beck of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Amy & Michael D'Anthony of Marietta; grandchildren, Kate Hamrick and Dylan Hamrick, Evan D'Anthony, and Julia D'Anthony; and great-grandson, Quinton Hamrick. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 12pm until 2:30pm at Cagle Funeral Home in Jasper. An interment service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper at 3pm.

The family kindly asks that no food be brought to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Pregnancy Center in Jasper, Georgia (babyontheway.org), in honor of Mrs. Beck's deep love for babies.
