Sarah Leonora Mullinax, born October 13, 1965, to the late Mr. Jack Mullinax and Mrs. Leonora Ezzard Mullinax, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Sarah lived a life filled with kindness, creativity, and joy. She found happiness in simple pleasures—coloring, collecting movies, and stamps—and in doing so, she left a lasting stamp on the hearts of everyone she touched. An amateur photographer with a keen eye for beauty, Sarah especially loved capturing moments with her beloved cats. Her gentle spirit and love for animals reflected the compassion she carried for all living things.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother J.P. Mullinax, and her sister Doris West. She is survived by her sons, Ira (Antoaneta) Holden and John (Phebe) Holden; her former spouse and best friend, Lamar Holden; her grandson, Noah; and a little grandchild soon to arrive.

Sarah will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul whose warmth and generosity brightened the lives of those around her.

Visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
