Mrs. Rita Faye Beck Stokes, age 68, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on April 9, 2025. Born on March 12, 1957, to the late Lloyd Beck and Dorothy Free Beck, Rita lived a vibrant life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Known for her warm smile and fiery spirit, Rita had a unique way of brightening the lives of everyone she met. She was a beloved member of her community, where her friendliness and bold honesty earned her both admiration and respect. Rita wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and her straightforward nature was one of the many qualities that made her truly unforgettable. Rita shared her life with the love of her life, and together they raised three children who were the center of her world. Her devotion to her family was unmatched, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. In her free time, Rita enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and brought joy to many in the community by selling those lucky winners at her store. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Rita's legacy of love, strength, and unwavering honesty will continue to inspire all who loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

She joined her husband, David Stokes, parents, brother, James Beck and daughter, Christy Childers in Heaven.

Her loss will be deeply felt by her surviving family, sons, Guy (Tina) Childers, Pat (Mandy) Childers, Dustin (Connie) Padgett, daughters, Leslie Childers, Ashley Lumpkin, grandchildren, Christi (Jason) Webb, Josh (Ashley) Chambers, Justin (Brittany) Childers, Daniel (Ansleigh) Childers, Bryson Childers, great grandchildren, Camron Williams, Kailana Webb, Evenee Webb, Addison Bahannon,  Tayte Chambers, Tyce Chambers, Annalee Newborn Padgett, Landon Samples, Jake Lumpkin, David Lumpkin, Tobie Jr Lumpkin, Brantley Childers, Phoenix Childers, Paxton Childers, Paisleigh Childers

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from eleven in the morning until nine at night and Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from ten in the morning until the service hour.

Rita's funeral service will be conducted in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at two o'clock with Rev. Joseph Hightower officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Dustin Padgett, Bryson Childers, Daniel Childers, Mike Edwards, Chris Childers and Josh Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be, David Lumpkin and Jake Lumpkin.
