Mr. Richard "Diet Rite" Free, age 74 of Jasper, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mr. Free is survived by his mother, Pauline Free of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda & Jerry Padgett of Jasper; sister-in-law, Barbara King of Jasper; brother-in-law, Ronnie Morris of Jasper; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 21, 4:00 pm until 8:00pm, and Wednesday, 8:00 am until 10:45 am.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Johnny Padgett officiating.

Pallbearers: Shane Padgett, Kevin Curtis, Ricky Ray, Kenney Collis, Alex McArthur, Chad Morris, and Darrin Morris.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donate to help with funeral expenses.
