Mrs. Joanna Ray, age 87 of Jasper, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Parkside Center in Ellijay.

Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband, Howard Ray of Jasper; son, David Ray of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Selena & Shane Padgett, Michael & Lindsey Ray, and Alex Ray; great-grandchildren, Ethan Padgett, Emma Padgett, and Aiden Max Padgett; daughter-in-law, Janet Ray; brother-in-law, Edward Ray; sister-in-law, Linda Tenney.

Visitation is Friday, March 4, 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and Saturday, March 5, 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Talking Rock Baptist Church, with Rev. Buck Parker, Rev. Steven Hicks, and Rev. Jason Phillips officiating.

Interment will be at the church cemetery following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Michael Ray, Shane Padgett, Alex Ray, Ethan Padgett, Greg Sitten, and Steve Moraitakis. Honorary pallbearer, Don Quinton.
