James "Randy" Reed, age 52, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on November 28, 2025. Born on December 18, 1972, in Jasper to Mr. James Reed and Tava Waters, Randy grew up with a love for trucks and a strong work ethic that carried him through his life as a truck driver and construction worker.

Randy found joy in the simple things—spending time with his family and fishing whenever he could. Randy found peace in riding on dirt roads while listening to classic rock and country music. His laughter, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

. Randy was preceded in death by his father, James Reed, and his brother Buddy Reed.

He leaves behind his four beloved children, his mother Tava Waters, his brother Daniel Reed, and his half sister, Jamie Reed.  Many other family members survive to cherish Randy's memory.

Visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel at Cagle Funeral Home.

Randy's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy of hard work, love, and devotion will never be forgotten.
