Phillip D. Matthews' Obituary
Mr. Phillip D. Matthews, age 72 of Talking Rock, passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Mr. Matthews is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda & Richard Russell of Jasper and Melissa & Doug Kell of Talking Rock; brother and sister-in-law: Robert & Brenda Matthews of Canton; sister: Ellen Matthews of Talking Rock; 5 grandchildren: Grady & Mahaley Russell, Brittany & David Shirley, LaDonna & Joseph Edwards, Dana & Chandler, and Dustin & Ashley Kell, 6 great-grandchildren: Bailey, Noah, Logan, Laini, Clayton, and Lydia and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00pm until prior to the memorial service. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home.
The family requests in lieu of flowers make donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
