Ms. Peggy Ann Townsend, age 72 of Ellijay, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at Pruitt Health Care.

Ms. Townsend is survived by her daughters, Amy Griffin of Canton, and Lori Marshall of Jasper; brother, James Bishop of Marietta; sister, Betty Chumley of Acworth; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment of cremains will be at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
