Mr. Paul Stamey, age 86 of Jasper, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Stamey is survived by his wife, Joyce Stamey of Jasper; daughters and son-in-law, Cathy & Bacle Fowler of Jasper, and Patricia Pruitt of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Cathy Gibson of Ohio; brothers, Hollis Stamey of Jasper, and Howard Stamey of Nelson; sisters, Louise Sims of Jasper, Ruth Ware Cooper of Jasper, and Lona Buchanan of Jasper; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Lorene Cantrell and Ruby Heard.

Visitation is Friday, March 11, 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Saturday, 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and Sunday, 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Pirkle, Rev. Billy Shirley, and Rev. Michael Shirley officiating.

Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Brian Stamey, Richard Heard, Maurice Gooch, Darrel Morris, David Sims, Larry Buchanan, Sam Rich, and Hayden Gooch.
