Mr. Paul Petty, age 78 of Talking Rock, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Mr. Petty is survived by his wife, Sharon Petty of Talking Rock; son, Keith Petty of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Renee & Justin Strohl of Ellijay; brother-in-law, Ronnie Waldrop; sister-in-law, Peggy Petty of Jasper; granddaughter, Gracie Strohl of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Monday, January 2, 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Wednesday, 9:00 am until 1:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Talking Rock Baptist Church, with Rev. Buck Parker, Rev. Daniel Reece, and Rev. Ted Estes officiating.

Interment will be at the church cemetery following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Justin Strohl, Howard Strohl, Sean Bozeman, James Cox, Dylan Ellis, and Steve Petrakovich. Honorary pallbearers: Jimmy Gallman, Larry Loudermilk, and Jerry Odell.
