With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Nancy Frix, age 69, on February 15, 2025. Born on July 27, 1955, in Tate, Georgia, to Bill and Shirley K. Frix, Nancy lived a life filled with love and joy.
Nancy was a strong and feisty woman who never hesitated to speak her mind. She had a deep love for Jesus and found happiness in dancing, music, flowers, and gardening. Her admiration for Rock-n-Roll, just to name a few, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Meatloaf, those were a testament to her vibrant spirit. Above all, Nancy's family was her greatest treasure. She was blessed with five daughters, many grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the light of her life. Nancy's love for them was boundless, and her dedication to her family was unwavering. Nancy's warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father Bill, brother Billy, sisters Jackie, Phyllis & Jo Renee Frix and granddaughter, Taylor Childers.
Her loss will be deeply felt by her surviving family, her mother, Shirley K Frix, daughters, Brandy Childers, Dawn (Chris) Childers, Holly (Justin) Maney, Aidan Mulkey, Alex Mulkey (Carter Marrero), grandchildren, Zachary Childers, Hannah Childers, Savannah Childers, Emily Childers, Alyssa Childers, great grandchildren, Falicity (BeBe) Greene, Easton Duckett, McKinleigh Bozeman, Ava Mulkey, Brantley Paschal, Josey Paschal, Jackson Godfrey and her husband of many years, Wayne Mulkey.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from two in the afternoon until nine at night and Thursday, February 20, 2025, from ten in the morning until the service hour.
Nancy's funeral service will be conducted in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at two in the afternoon with Rev. Gary Keown and Chris White officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and will be accepting flowers.
