In loving memory of Nancy Elder Eubanks Dorsey.

Nancy Elder Eubanks Dorsey, a beloved and long-time educator, passed away on June 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. She was born on December 6, 1937, in Tate, Georgia, to her parents John Martin and Willie Frank Eubanks.

Nancy was known for her quick wit and remarkable sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to all those around her. She approached life with a vibrant enthusiasm, cherishing every moment and embracing all it had to offer. Nancy found great happiness in sharing a fulfilling and contented life with her beloved husband, Donal Dorsey, who preceded her in death.

Family was of utmost importance to Nancy, and she held a special bond with her brothers, Johnny Eubanks (Frances), who preceded her in death, and Frank Eubanks (Doris), who still cherish her memory. She is also survived by four stepchildren, Dixie Nickoloff, Elizabeth Murphy, Van Dorsey (Joni), and John Dorsey (Judy). Though she experienced the loss of a step-grandson, Joseph Murphy, she leaves behind Mary Engels (Aaron), Katie Thompson, and several step-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

A visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, providing an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share their memories of Nancy. Following the visitation, a service will be held in the chapel to celebrate her remarkable life.

Nancy will be laid to rest at Cool Springs Baptist Cemetery in Tate, a place that holds a deep significance for her and her loved ones.

May Nancy's spirit continue to inspire us all to live each day to the fullest and to find joy in the simplest of pleasures. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain eternally cherished in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Cool Springs Baptist Church or The Alzheimer's Association.
