Mr. Mitchell Hulun Nichols, age 75 of Jasper, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday October 19, 2020 at Assured Hospice Care in Cartersville.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his son: Teddy Nichols & Michelle Wilson of Ellijay; daughter and son-in-law: Tammy Carter & Jimmy Buchanan of Jasper; daughter: Britney & Becca Nichols of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brothers: Eddie Lee Nichols of Waleska and Richard Nichols of Jasper; sister: Cathy Rampley of Waleska; grandchildren: Kristen & Brett Mullins, Miranda Carter & Matt Wright, Austin Carter; great-grandchildren: Hagen Mullins, Hallie Mullins and Zayne Carter; several stepchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Gail Nichols.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home, with Chaplain Tim Baird and Rev. Danny Townsend, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Assured Hospice in Cartersville, GA.
