Mrs. Mildred Garner, age 86 of Talking Rock, passed away Sunday July 5, 2020 at Pruitt Health in Jasper.

Mildred is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Gary & Wanda Garner of Jasper; son: Bobby Garner of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law: Terresa & Russell Bunch of Jasper; sisters: Betty Godfrey of Talking Rock and Ruby Daugherty of Talking Rock; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 7, 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, July 8, 8:00 AM until 12:45 PM at Cagle Funeral Home. Mrs. Garner will lie in state at Mt Zion Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until the funeral service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Mt Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Ben Mock, Rev. Larry Reece and David Johnson officiating.

Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Steve Bramlett, Allen Evans, William Reece, Travis Rogers, Cody Godfrey and Joseph Godfrey. Honorary pallbearer: Jerry Hicks.

The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Mt Zion Baptist Church.
