Michael Wyman, lovingly known by most as "Redman" of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born on December 14, 1958, in Utica, New York, Michael was the son of George Wyman and Dawn Risley Wyman. He was married to his late wife, Christine Wyman, for 32 years, and together they built a life filled with love, hard work, and family.

Michael spent many years driving a truck across the roads before moving into construction work, where he continued to show his dedication and strong work ethic until he was no longer able. He was a man who worked hard and lived simply, finding joy in the outdoors. He loved being outdoors, with fishing and camping among his favorite pastimes.

Above all, Redman cherished his role as "Pawpaw." His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he loved nothing more than wrestling, playing, and laughing with them, just as he had with his children when they were young. His presence brought joy, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Michael is survived by his children: Eric (Hannah) Wyman, Shawn (Ashley) Wyman, Stephanie (Daniel) Ray, and Brittany (Todd) Lockey; his grandchildren: Wesley, Ty, Eli, Jadelyn, Lawler, Koda, Melissa, Everett, Lexi, Nathan, Dawn, Drake, Christopher, Slade, Carter, Stiles, and Harley; his brothers: Bob, Jerry, and Roy; and his sisters: Jenny and Candy. He also leaves behind his best friend, Daisy, his loyal dog.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Christine, his parents George and Dawn, his brothers infant Shawn and Ron, and his sisters Georgie and Robin.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m.

Michael "Redman" Wyman will be remembered as a hardworking man, an outdoorsman, and most importantly, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
