Ms. Melba Dell Evans, age 68 of Jasper, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her residence.

Ms. Evans is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Toni & Phil Blackwell of Yellow Creek and Gina Dell Jarrett of Jasper; daughter in heart: Traci Bryant; special friend: David Cornett of Ball Ground; sister: Linda Sue Easterwood of Jasper; brothers: Billy & Jaci Evans of Jasper and Benny & Angie Evans of Jasper; four grandchildren: Tyler Shackleford, Brody Blackwell, Kristen Hyde and Carter Joe Hyde; several special cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, December 12, 12:00 noon until 10:00 PM and Sunday, December 13, 8:00 AM until the graveside service hour.

The family is requesting that masks be worn during the time of visitation.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Greg Long officiating.

Pallbearers: Phil Blackwell, Tyler Shackleford, Brody Blackwell, Brian Johnson, Adam Easterwood and Wesley Easterwood. Honorary pallbearer: Carter Joe Hyde.

The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
