Mary Ruth Laird, 88 of Canton GA, formerly of Marietta, passed away January 30, 2023 at the Cherokee Center for Rehab and Nursing.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William and Allie Towns; husband, David James Laird; sons, Ricky and Terry Laird.

Survivors include Dwight and Janice Laird of Canton, Michael Laird of Jasper; grandchildren, Kimberly Laird Ferguson of Jasper, Shane Laird of Canton, Gary and Heather Laird Stout of Abingdon, Illinois; nine great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
