Mrs. Mary Jean Carver, age 83 of Jasper, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Mrs. Carver is survived by her husband, Junior Carver of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Tim & Jeanette Carver of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy & Jeff Tilley of Jasper; brothers, Joe Fountain of Calhoun, and Jimmy Fountain of Jasper; sister, Frances Millsap of Jasper; three grandchildren Lezley Gross, Allen Tilley and Andy Tilley; four great grandchildren, Jayda Tilley, Isaac Tilley, Malachai Tilley, and Arya Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Albert and Emma Fountain; brothers, John Fountain, Jerry Fountain, and Charlie J. Fountain; sisters, Dora Jane Silvers, and Ann Boltz.

Visitation is Monday, August 1, 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Tuesday, August 2, 8:00 am until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Harold Cantrell, Rev. Joe Fountain, and Joe Holt officiating.

Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Junior Martin, Allen Tilley, Andy Tilley, Daniel Brooks, Daniel Sutton, and Mark Fountain.
