Mrs Mary Barrett, age 93 of Jasper, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Assured Hospice in Cartersville.

Mary is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Ernest Barrett; parents: John & Lizzie Keener Patterson; brothers: Wilburn, Austin, Willard, and Charlie Patterson; sisters: Lorene Courey, Etta Newton, Pauline Weems, Irene Barrett, and twin sister Martha Patterson, who died at birth.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 24, 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Wednesday, 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Cagle Funeral  Home Chapel, with Rev. Ben Mock officiating.

Interment will be at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Ranger, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Eugene Allaway, James Nix, Grady Cagle, Barry Bowman, Freddy Weems, and David Weems.

In lieu of flowers, donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
