Mrs. Martha Bland, age 72 of the Jerusalem Community passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Bland is survived by her Sons and Daughters-in-Law: John & Lori Sturgeon of Rome, Jeff & Shelia Sturgeon of Pickens, James & Judy Sturgeon of Blue Ridge and David & Shelly Bland of Pickens. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Linda & George Chambers of Rome. Brothers: Paul Elswick of FL, Phillip Elswick of Pickens, John Elswick of OH, and Michael Elswick of FL. Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Mary & Roy Stanaland of Pickens, Carol & Johnny Sawyer of VA. Sisters: Cansas Elswick of OH, Ruth Elswick of VA and Evelyn Elswick of OH. Twelve Grandchildren, Ten Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild.

The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, August 21 from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help cover expenses.
