HOLT, Margaret Katherine, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed on to be with the Lord on September 20, 2025, at Heartis Senior Living.

She lived a long and beautiful life of 97 years blessing those around her with her warm spirit and gracious heart. She was a devoted daughter and mother, loving wife, caring sister and a faithful friend.

After 70 plus years of living in Columbus, Ohio, Margaret relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to live with her daughter.

Known for her delicious cooking that brought people together, her front yard gardens that displayed colorful flowers and plants that bloomed under her loving care and a home filled with treasured and lovely items that created beauty for many to see.

Born to the union of the late Olin and Julia Collins on October 18, 1927, in Tate Georgia. Margaret was preceded in death by husband Donald Holt, sons Ronald Lynn Holt, Eric Farrow Holt and daughter Donna Mercedes Holt; parents Olin and Julia Collins; brothers Howard and Olin Jr. Collins; sister Emma Collins.

Survived by very special cousins William Wright of Columbus, Ohio, Nadine Wright of Las Vegas, Nevada, Frances Wright of Powell, Ohio and Henrietta Ransom of Coral Springs, Florida.

She is lovingly remembered by Lurlene (Benjamin) Sims, of Hiram Georgia.

Most of all, Margaret will be remembered for her generous heart and the kindness she shared so freely with both family and friends.
