Mr. Lawrence Brown, age 86 of Jasper, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.

Mr. Brown retired from Lockheed-Martin in 1987 after a 30 plus year career in tooling and fixture building, as well as representing his fellow workers as Shop Steward. Mr. Brown was a member and former Master of Sharptop Lodge and a member of the Marble Hill Chapter of Eastern Star.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his mother and father, William B. and Eunice Brown, brothers, Carlis and Larry Brown, Sister, Maxine Whitehair, and grandson Craig Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by His Wife of 67 years: Mable Brown of Jasper. Son and Daughter-in-Law: Bill & Theresa Brown of Jasper. Daughters: Karen Howard of Jasper and Elane Fountain of Jasper. Brothers: Waymond Brown of White, GA, Gary Brown of Cartersville and Linwood Brown of Illinois. Sisters: Jeanette Eschliman of Cartersville, Ellen Mathison of Cartersville and Patricia Jordan of Kingston. Six Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 21 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday, May 22 from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Linwood Brown officiating.

Pallbearers: Tony Morgan, Brian Morgan, Richie Brown, Jeff Brown, Blake Morgan, Hayden Mooney and Tate Brown.

Entombment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.
