Larry T. Parker, Sr., of Pickens County, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on March 10, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the beloved son of the late Mr. Zannie Lee Parker, Jr. and Mrs. Martha Jane Tyler Parker.

Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. His dedication to service was matched by his devotion to family, friends, and community. A man of many talents, Larry was a football and baseball coach who inspired countless young athletes, and he was like a father to his siblings, always offering guidance and love.

Beyond the field, Larry was an artist, musician, songwriter, and singer. He was best known as the "Larry" of Larry and the Loafers, whose song Panama City Blues brought joy to many. His creativity extended into his love for collecting antique toys, his admiration for antebellum homes, and his entrepreneurial spirit. Larry's life was a testament to curiosity, passion, and generosity.

He is survived by his son, Ty Parker; daughters, Dina Parker and Stacy Parker; and grandchildren, Jacob and Wesley Parker. His legacy will live on in their hearts and in the countless lives he touched with his music, mentorship, and friendship.
