Mr. Kenneth Ray, age 81 of Gainesville, went home peacefully in his sleep to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Ray of Gainesville; brother, Joe Ray of Sebastian, FL; sister, Barbara Wigington of Jasper; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jean Ray; son, Jeff Ray; and granddaughter, Jessica Ray.

Visitation is Saturday, November 12, 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm; Sunday, 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and Monday, 8:00 am until 10:30 am.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 14, 2022 at Gospel Temple Church, with Minister Butch Roberts officiating.

Interment will be at the church cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Matthew Ray, Edwin Wigington, Ric Seymour, and Frankie Reed.

The family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to Gospel Temple Church.
