Kayla Leeann
Wilson
Mar 31, 1998 — Oct 18, 2024
Fairmount
With a heavy heart, we announce the loss of Ms. Kayla Crook Wilson, age 26, who left this world unexpectedly on October 18, 2024. She was born on March 31, 1998, in Calhoun, Georgia, to Mr. Casey Crook and Ms. Karen McReynolds.
Kayla brought joy and light to everyone she encountered. She lived her young life to the fullest, never meeting a stranger. She had a heart of gold and an infectious spirit and laugh; she was a beautiful, sweet, carefree, and strong woman. Her independent nature was balanced by her outgoing and compassionate demeanor.
She married her high school sweetheart, and together they were blessed with two beautiful daughters. Those girls were Kayla's whole world, and she took immense pride in them. She dressed them up for every holiday and special occasion to a T, always ensuring they felt loved and cherished.
Kayla was always surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones, each of whom admired her tenacity and determination. In her professional life as a caregiver, she stood out as a caring leader who always put others first. She had a tendency to be late for everything, but Kayla's arrival was always worth the wait, as she would light up any room she walked in to.
Kayla loved her Jeep. Going to ride, with the top down, the sunshine on her face, and the wind blowing through her hair, with her daughters by her side, hats and sunglasses on. Those moments were always filled with pure joy, creating unforgettable memories with each adventure. Being a mother was Kayla's true calling, she was always meant to be her girls' mama, her daughters will forever carry the love and warmth she instilled in them.
She will be remembered for the joy she brought into her family and friend's lives, the lasting impact she made on each of them and for all the heart she shared with her family and friends. She truly loved each and every one of them-and if you knew Kayla, you knew it. In return everyone who knew Kayla loved her wholeheartedly as well. She will never be forgotten, and she will always be loved.
Even though Kayla was taken too soon, she is now in Heaven with her grandparents, Janice and Elmer Risley and Donnie Crook.
Her memory will now live on with her husband, Jacob Wilson, daughters, Raelynn & Rylee Wilson, father, Casey and Brooke Crook, mother, Karen and Kyle McReynolds, father and mother-in-law, Hank and Katie Wilson, sisters, Megan Crook, Peyton Crook, Kaydence McReynolds, Kenzie McReynolds, Kylie McReynolds, Cyndal Huskins, brothers, Jack McReynolds, Dylan Huskins, Dawson Huskins, grandparents, Kathy and Robert Morris, Donald and Gaynell McReynolds, Beverly Holt, great-grandparents, Arvel and Dymple Townsend.
