Mr. J.P. Davis Jr., age 72 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday December 28, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife: Jackie Davis of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law: Anthony & Tiffany Davis of Louisiana; Travis & Janie Davis of Woodstock; and Brandon & Melissa Davis of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law: Donna & Steve Parrish of Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law: Clyde & Barbara Davis of Jasper, Elijah & Eva Davis of Ellijay, and Douglas Davis of Ellijay; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday December 29, 2016 from 2:30pm until 9:00pm and on Friday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Travis Davis and Eddie Parker officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
