Mr. J.R. Totherow, age 71 of Ball Ground, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Mr. Totherow is survived by his wife, Shirley Totherow of Ball Ground; sons, Keith Totherow of Ball Ground, and Bryan Totherow of Ball Ground; brother, Jimmy Totherow and Beth of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dotty & Richard Hamby of Nelson, Marie & Junior McTaggart of Nelson, Joella Forest of Jasper, and Martha & Terry Ray of Nelson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Martha & William Pool of Jasper, Tex & Debbie Byess, Donnie & Audra Fountain, John McPherson, and Jean McPherson;; grandchildren, Haley Totherow, and Joseph Totherow; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Garlen & Jewell; brother, Tim Totherow; sisters, Ruth Ann Beck, Lassie Heath, Onita, Shirley, and Christina.

Visitation is Saturday, November 27, from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and Sunday, from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Henson and Rev. Stanley Mulkey officiating.

Interment will be at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Bobby Turner, Barry Heath, Allen Heath, Kenneth Beck, Kevin McTaggart, and Tom McTaggart. Honorary pallbearers: Leigh Bannister, and Kenneth Gay.
