Jon Anthony Langlois, born July, 12, 1951 in Adams, Massachusetts to Joseph and Janet Langlois, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025.  After serving in the Navy, he established his home in Ellijay, GA where he resided for 50 years.  A free spirit, he lived his life on his own terms often working as a migrant farm worker and re-forestation auger in areas devastated by forest fires,  His proudest achievement was the time he spent working as a stone mason constructing the entrance of the Appalachian Trail in Fannin County at Springer Mountain.  Jon will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Jon is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joice Sheffer.

He is survived his brother, Joel Langlois (Terri) of NC, his sister Janette Langlois and partner, Susan Allen of Adams, MA, and son, Corey Labato, of Florence, MA,  Several nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Jon's memory.
