Mr. Johnny Ray, age 59 of Japser, passed away on Thursday November 3, 2016 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife: Janet Ray of Jasper; parents: Howard & JoAnna Ray of Jasper; sons: Alex Ray of Jasper and Michael Ray of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law: Selena & Shane Padgett of Jasper; brother: David Ray of Talking Rock; grandchildren: Ethan Padgett, Emma Padgett, and Max Padgett.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 4, 2016 from 5:30pm until 10pm and on Saturday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at Talking Rock Baptist Church with Revs. Gene Childers and Buck Parker officiating. Interment at Talking Rock Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or make donations to Cagle Funeral Home to go toward the Johnny Ray Memorial Fund.
