Mr. John Martin Garner, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away Friday July 12, 2024, at home with his family lovingly by his side at the age of 76.

John was born to the late Mr. John Monroe Garner and Ms. Alice Catherine Platt on January 29, 1948, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

John's first passion in life was his Ministry and the Bible. He spent the last 50 years married to the love of his life, Peggy, building their life and family. Together they have two wonderful children, Lance and Leigha. In his spare time, John loved being outdoors, the mountains, had a love of flying, history, science, his chickens, and even playing video games. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Garner, his son, Lance Garner and his wife Lauren Garner, his daughter, Leigha Garner-Lopez and her husband Ryan Lopez, his grandchildren, Penellope and Annabelle Lopez, and his siblings, four sisters and one brother.

A memorial service for John will be held at a later date.
