Mr. Jody Pettigrew, age 42 of the Hinton Community, passed away Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mr. Pettigrew is survived by his mother and step father: Denzel & Barry Bowman of the Hinton Community; son: Jordan Pettigrew and fiance Allison Wilkes of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law: Shannon & Donald Teague of Hill City, Melanie & Greg Evans of Hinton Community, Andrea & Bill Coleman of the Hinton Community, Kerri & Hank Coleman of the Hinton Community, Tanya Bowman of Rockmart, and Stacy Bowman of Whitestone.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 17, 2017 from 2:00pm until 10:00pm and on Saturday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Joseph Hightower officiating. Interment at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
