Mrs. Joann Young, age 63 of Jerusalem Community, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at her residence.

Joann is survived by her mother, Edna Goble of Ludville Community; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Young of Jerusalem Community, and Michael & Mallory Young of Fairmount; sister, Mary Alice Long of Sonoraville; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, July 8, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and Sunday, from 10:00 am until prior to the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Caylor officiating.

Interment will be at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Robert Young, Eric Wyman, Dustin Young, Lonnie Davis, Terry Wyman, and Eli Wyman.

The family will accept flowers but prefer donations to Cagle Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
