Mr. Jim Watkins, age 79 of Suches, GA, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Dunwoody Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife, Roberta Louise Watkins of Suches; son, Jimmy Joe Watkins of Louisiana; daughter, Dana McLauchlin of Jasper; sister, Betty Orr of Thomasville, NC; brother, George Mack Watkins of Asheville, NC;  granddaughters, Ashley Rice and Amber Wallace; great-grandchildren, Landon Rice, Leihum Rice, Paisley Wallace, and Madilyne Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald David Watkins and Roger Lee Watkins; and granddaughter, Amie Lyne Moore.

Interment will be 1130 am Wednesday June 29, 2022 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.
