Heaven has gained another sweet angel.
A very special lady has earned her wings. Ms. Jeanella Fifer, age 65 of Woodstock, GA formerly of Tioga, ND, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Sonshine Manor on March 24, 2017.
Jeanella was born in the small town of Tioga, ND. She graduated from Tioga High School in 1969. While at Tioga High School she was an accomplished cheerleader and played the clarinet in the THS band. After high school Jeanella would soon marry and have three beautiful girls Julia, Michelle, and Tamara. She divorced and lived in Minot, ND when she had an opportunity to join an appraisal firm in Atlanta GA for a better life for her and her children. She decided to take that chance and move to Kennesaw GA in which spawned a twenty-year career in which she could raise 3 strong women and be the loving and caring mother that she was. After her retirement, she started a bookkeeping/accounting company of her own. She started enjoying life much more at this point working at her own pace at home.
She now had more time for the things she really enjoyed in life such as traveling, especially to a casino, spending time with family and her own peace and quiet watching her old TV shows. One of her favorite things to do was our yearly trip to Biloxi MS with the family. We would spend the fourth of July week enjoying our time together. She would have a week of shopping with the grandkids, spending the days by the pool, fourth of July fireworks, concerts, great food and of course a little gambling too!
Ms. Fifer was proceeded in death by her parents Raymond and Beatrice Odegaard, and her brother Allen Nelson.
Survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Julia and Danny Bramblett of Woodstock Ga, Michelle and Mike Davis of Waleska GA, and Tamara Fifer also of Woodstock GA; loving brother and sister-in-law: Wayde and Joanne Nelson of Tioga ND; and loving sister and brother-in-law: Louise Nelson and Richard Naylor of Talking Rock GA; her grandchildren: Makayla and Makenzie Davis and Olivia Cochran, several nieces and nephews and her special friend Wahoo McDaniel.
She will be missed but will live on in the hearts of so many that she has touched through the years.
There will be a celebration of life at 2:00pm Saturday April 29, 2017 at the Naylor/Nelson house at 34 Twin Mountain Lake Road, Talking Rock, GA 30175. Call Michelle to RSVP at (404)323-6888.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
Cagle Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fifer family.
