Ms. Janice Marie Taylor, age 63, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on December 30, 2025. She was born on July 27, 1962, in Tate, Georgia, to the late Jim Charlie Buchanan and Lona Mae Stamey.

Janice was known for her strong work ethic and her love of staying busy. She poured her heart into everything she did. More than anything, she loved her family. She also had a deep appreciation for horses, antiques, and flowers, and she found joy and peace in gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Buchanan.
Janice's memory will be cherished by her sons, Steven Padgett and Nathan Taylor; her grandchildren, Brent (Alyssa) Padgett, Tyler (Ariel) Padgett, Mackenzie Padgett, and Chloe Padgett; and her great‑grandchildren, Nova Padgett and Brenley Padgett. She is also survived by her brother and sister‑in‑law, Larry and Holly Buchanan; her sister and brother‑in‑law, Linda and Roger Emory; and her sister, Lisa Amos. Several extended family members also hold Janice's memory close.
Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
