Ms. Janet Penrod, age 71, of Jasper, passed away May 31, 2018 at her residence.

Janet is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-Law; Mitchell & Michelle Boyd from Summerville, SC. Daughter and Son-in-Law Rachel and Kimbal Jones of Talking Rock, Ga. Brother and Sister-in-Law; Larry and Doris Richards, of Jasper. Sisters and Brothers-in-Laws: Teresa and Charles Padgett; and Laneve and James Anderson all of Jasper. Grandchildren: Travis & Andrea Jones of Toccoa, Morgan Jones & Christian Ponce of Talking Rock, Jonathan & Kellie Headden of Summerville, SC, Deanne Harrison of Jasper, Jessica Banks of Jasper, Matthew Miller and Seth Miller and Kyle & Bethany Miller all from Summerville, SC. Great-Grandchildren: Landon, Coby, Kaiden, Kensly, Leeland and Penny. Several Nieces and Nephews. Also 2nd Mom: Geneva Dorsey.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 1 beginning 2:00 PM and continuing thru out the night, Saturday, June 2 From 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday June 3, 2018 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Floyd officiating.

Pallbearers: Blake Lancaster, Steven Padgett, Jason Anderson, Jeremy Young, Jonathan Headden, Al Lincoln, Paul Kirker.

An Eastern Star committal service will be conducted.

Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens immediately following the Funeral Services.
