Ms. Janet Brown, age 52 of Dawson County, passed away Thursday March 2, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Ms. Brown is survived by her sons: David Brown of Dawsonville, John Brown of Dawsonville, and James Matthew Bennett of Dawsonville; brother: Daniel McFarland of Ellijay; and grandchildren: Dakota Chance Brown and Skylah Brown.

Visitation was held on Saturday from 4:30pm until 9:00pm and on Sunday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral service. The funeral service was held at 3:00pm Sunday from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Johnny Grizzle officiating. Interment at Burnt Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family accepted flowers or donations may be made to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
