Mr. James "Bob" Mullinax, affectionately known as Bob, passed away on August 1, 2024, at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center. He was born on August 20, 1933, to the late Mr. Carl Mullinax and Mrs. Eula Griffin Mullinax, in Jasper, Georgia.

Bob's life was marked by his love for family, music, and adventure. He was widowed by his loving wife, Sue Mullinax. Bob had a close-knit family, with seven siblings, five who precede him in death: brothers, Cleburn, Wallace, and Eugene Mullinax, and sisters Maxine Mathis and Lorea Thompson.

Bob had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. He was an avid Nascar fan and country music was his soul's soundtrack. George Jones was one of his favorite artist. Bob loved to travel, exploring new places and creating cherished memories along the way. His passion for adventure extended to his love for country cooking.

Survived by his sisters, Joyce Ridley and Shirley (Randy) DeFoor, as well as sister-in-law Hazel Mullinax, Bob leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and kindness. He also has several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Keith Degannas, his devoted caregiver and friend provided unwavering support during Bob's later years.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10 o'clock in the morning until the service hour.

Bob's graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with Rev. Jess Posey officiating.

The family will be accepting flowers and deeply appreciate your support during this difficult time.
