Obituary

With broken hearts we say goodbye to Jackie Wayne Brannon, an incredible man whose love, laughter, and music touched so many lives. He went home to be with the Lord on September 12th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion that will never be forgotten.

Jackie was a man who loved deeply. His wife, Teresa was the love of his life, and together they built a home filled with laughter, music, and unwavering commitment. His daughter, Tina and his grandchildren, adopted grandson and great-grandchild were his pride and joy. He never missed a chance to tell them how much they meant to him — and he showed it every day in the way he lived.

Music was his gift, and gospel was his heartbeat. With a voice full of spirit and hands that could bring a song to life, he poured his faith into every note. Whether sitting at home, gathered with family, or lifting his voice in church, his songs carried hope, joy, and love for God. To hear him play and sing was to be reminded of what truly matters.

Hardworking, dependable, and endlessly generous, Jackie never turned away from someone in need. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, the time out of his day, or the wisdom from his heart. His gentle strength and considerate spirit left a mark on everyone who knew him.

Though he has left this earthly life, his spirit lives on — in the hymns we hum, in the lessons he taught us, and in the love he poured into his family. His presence will be missed more than words can express, but his memory will continue to guide and comfort us.

Jackie is survived by his wife Teresa of 44 years, his daughter Tina and son in law Chris Garner, his granddaughter Alaina & Jon Gramling, grandchildren Alyssa and Jacob Dale, Maddox Sjogren, Noah Garner, adopted grandson Bryson Keeney and great-grandson Oliver, sisters Teresa Stone and Deborah Brannon, brother Randy Brannon and countless family and friends who loved him dearly.

Until we meet again, we will carry your song in our hearts

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7
